To kick things off, thank you to everyone who have commented, added a favorite, added a collection, and/or mentioned or placed my work in blogs, social media tools, and shirts. I'm going to thank you all here as well on your pages. You are the ones who drive me to work day and night to be actively creative and determined to develop new ideas and concepts with in my work. It means a lot and it's a wonderful blessing.
On that note I want to just give both a quick background and reason as to why I say certain things in my work as well as create the pieces I do. In some sense this is somewhat like a testimony to reveal who I truly am as an artist and as a person. For one, I'm someone who believes in faith. I'm simply a Christian. Before, you think I may be on a pedestal or anything like that I can assure you I'm not and never will be. I'm open to others beliefs and opinions and I will not judge another's views for it's not mine to judge. You see I use to never really follow a belief nor did I understand Christianity. I use to think it was filled with people who judged and looked down upon others while strictly following some sort of code from God. Yet, it ended after certain personal events occurred in my life as well as realizing that even something that could be just the tiniest of judgement on another is hurtful and breaks another's heart. I met Christians who are extremely open to others with open arms and accept any background. Me being that case since I was a Buddhist before I became a Christian (actually in some sense Buddhism kinda led me into Christianity too). It took a couple years before I really devoted myself into Christianity and those years were worth it investigating just to make sure that I was making the right choice.
Faith plays an important role in my work as well as the drive and the feelings experienced when developing a piece. I'm grateful that I get to meet all walks of life who view my work and comment. My one thing is this though. Please be respectful to other's views. Your opinions are yours, but please treat those around you like the way you wish to be treated. I can guarantee you that I will not question or judge you and your practices. People have a right to choose their walks in life and your life isn't mine.
Thank you and always be considerate.
